Numeral is seeking an Account Executive
Enterprise to join a specialized team dedicated to sourcing new clients and generating net-new revenue. In this capacity, you will be responsible for hunting, closing, and activating large, global customers in the complex field of sales tax and compliance. This position requires a strategic partner who works closely with senior leadership to define and execute enterprise strategy. The role involves full ownership of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting through final activation, with a focus on transformative digital solutions for ambitious organizations. You will navigate intricate decision-making units and align our platform with the strategic objectives of each account. Success in this role is defined by your ability to build trusted relationships and drive measurable transformation for finance leaders. Key Facts
Location is remote within the United States. The engagement is full-time. The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $140,000 to $220,000, performance-based target OTE at 1.5 times the base, and equity participation, allowing you to share directly in the company's growth and success.
What You'll Do
You will chart new pathways by identifying and engaging accounts, activating revenue streams for both mid-market and enterprise segments. A core responsibility involves conducting consultative dialogues that uncover client needs and clearly position tax transformation initiatives to C-suite stakeholders and finance teams. You will orchestrate product demonstrations in collaboration with engineering and design teams, specifically tailored for finance leaders and other key personnel. Building robust pipelines through targeted outbound campaigns and leveraging warm introductions is essential to hitting quarterly forecast goals. You will navigate complex negotiations across investors, operators, and executives to successfully close intricate enterprise deals. Synchronization with partners in implementation and customer success is critical to ensure adoption targets are met. You will analyze detailed customer workflows to align our platform with strategic objectives and long-term vision. Guiding buying committees through multi-quarter sales cycles with clarity and consistent momentum defines the day-to-day execution of this role. You will manage a high volume of opportunities, prioritizing activities to maximize pipeline efficiency and conversion rates. Creating data-driven forecasts and accurately predicting revenue outcomes will be a standard part of your weekly routine. You will own the creation of tailored value propositions that address specific pain points within the sales tax compliance landscape. Maintaining meticulous records of all interactions and progress within the CRM is required to ensure visibility for the entire revenue team. You will partner with marketing to develop compelling narratives that resonate with finance executives and decision-makers.
Requirements
The position requires a minimum of seven years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience in a full-cycle closing role. You must have a proven ability to handle average deals sized above fifty thousand dollars up to one million in annual value. The ideal candidate can articulate Numeral's value proposition clearly and effectively to executives, controllers, and other finance decision-makers. Generating self-sourced pipeline through cold outreach and warm network connections is a primary duty. You will apply consultative methods while utilizing analytical and quantitative skills to develop and run complex, multi-quarter projects. A consistent track record of hitting or surpassing demanding sales targets in a fast-paced environment is mandatory. Adapting quickly to change within a fast-moving startup environment and evolving markets is necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for interactions across global teams. Operating comfortably amid ambiguity while embracing rapid growth and scaling challenges is expected. Intensity and ownership are non-negotiable, as this role demands a proactive drive and a results-oriented mindset. Customer obsession, defined as a deep care for the user experience and solving their problems, is a core requirement. You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. This role requires a high level of integrity and the ability to represent Numeral professionally in all interactions.
