Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

This position owns the full lifecycle of the mobile app used by restaurant floor teams. You will rebuild the app from the ground up to operate reliably in harsh conditions, using AI to maintain pace without lowering quality standards. The objective is a dependable system that people trust when it matters most. You will define production-grade architecture, enforce design integrity, and partner with product and analytics to validate outcomes. You will guide migration strategies that keep daily operations uninterrupted for staff. You will ensure the platform remains fast, secure, and maintainable over time. Requirements

You must have hands-on React Native with TypeScript in production environments, demonstrating sustained delivery of stable releases.

You must have shipped native mobile codebases from scratch to production without guidance, including handling edge cases and lifecycle complexity.

You must handle connectivity constraints and varied device capabilities reliably, ensuring graceful degradation and data integrity.

You must care deeply about user experience in roles often overlooked by software, advocating for clarity, safety, and accessibility.

You must work across web and mobile stacks when the situation demands it, collaborating with frontend and backend teams.

You must build systems that stay fast under heavy load and constant usage, applying performance profiling and optimization.

You must communicate clearly with teams across company functions and locations, aligning on goals and tradeoffs.

You must understand that design quality belongs in engineering hands, taking ownership of implementation details.
