The role of represents a unique opportunity to define the visual vocabulary of commercial real estate analysis for a digital-first audience. You will own the end-to-end creation of edutainment content that transforms complex development finance into urgent, debate-worthy television. This position requires you to act as a domain expert, data analyst, and on-camera personality simultaneously, driving the narrative that makes Northspyre the indispensable platform for development teams. You will deconstruct live deals, challenge conventional wisdom, and provide immediate "Go / No-Go" verdicts that resonate across social platforms. The position is designed for a hands-on creator who is not afraid to get in front of the camera and explain why a 5 cap might be a trap or a 7 cap a bargain. Ultimately, you will build the media engine that positions Northspyre as the leading source of truth for the real estate development industry. This role is a hybrid of strategist, analyst, and storyteller, requiring equal parts technical proficiency and charismatic communication.

• Capture energetic vertical video segments that explain intricate deals with clarity, presence, and a high degree of production value.
• Guide deal strategy by calculating returns and explaining capital stack choices on camera to demystify the financial structure for viewers.
• Source timely industry insights from publications and data streams so your commentary reflects the immediate realities of the market.
• Facilitate rigorous Q and A sessions that challenge assumptions, spark informed debate, and push the analysis beyond surface-level conclusions.
• Coordinate with production and data teams to ensure figures are accurate, visuals are compelling, and the final edit aligns with the narrative goals.
• Synthesize complex development scenarios into rapid, audience-focused explanations that retain essential nuance despite time constraints.
• Partner with content strategists to shape narrative arcs that serve media-first goals and drive high levels of audience engagement.
• Deconstruct a complex real estate deal, rip the pro-forma apart, run the numbers, and deliver a definitive "Go / No-Go" verdict in under 60 seconds.
• Analyze specific markets such as "Multifamily in Austin" or "Industrial in Nashville" to provide targeted, location-specific intelligence.
• Help script the "deal assumptions" based on verifiable market data to ensure the foundation of the analysis is rock-solid.
• Generate ideas for content that push the boundaries of real estate education and entertainment for a digital audience.
• Talk confidently to the camera, speaking fast, clearly, and with authority to maintain viewer trust and credibility.
• Stay up to date on the real estate markets across the country by reading industry publications and tracking key trends daily.
• Ask the audience hard questions that generate high engagement and transform passive viewers into active participants.

Requirements

You must have a proven background in commercial real estate, holding experience as an Analyst, Associate, or Broker in the field. You must be able to sniff out a bad deal instinctively, recognizing red flags that others might miss. A bachelor's or master's degree focused on real estate development and/or land economics is acceptable only when combined with 3-5+ years of commercial real estate experience. You must be comfortable performing on camera, able to speak fast, clearly, and with unwavering authority in front of an audience. You must possess tech savviness, including the capability to record high-quality video and audio in varied environments. You must understand how to calculate IRR, structure a capital stack, and explain the intricate process of how development deals come together from inception to close. You must be The Sharp Explainer, capable of breaking down a deal quickly and clearly while delivering insight with speed and precision. You must be The Opinionated Analyst, someone who has bled, sweat, and argued about deals late into the night and is willing to share that intensity on camera. You must stay current on national markets through consistent reading, analysis, and trend tracking to ensure your insights are always relevant. You must condense intricate deals into concise insights without sacrificing the essential nuance that makes the analysis valuable. You must be willing to operate under tight deadlines, balancing the need for speed with the requirement for accuracy in a high-stakes media environment.
