What you'll do
You will prospect and generate new business opportunities within the multifamily real estate sector to expand your book of business. You will analyze market trends and investment strategies to provide informed recommendations to clients seeking debt, equity, and investment sales solutions. You will build and manage a robust network of industry professionals, including investors, brokers, and lenders, to support long-term relationships. You will utilize advanced negotiation techniques to structure transactions that align with client objectives and market conditions. You will prepare detailed market analyses, investment memoranda, and performance metrics to support decision-making and due diligence. You will collaborate closely with the dedicated back-office team, including investment sales analysts and marketing professionals, to ensure seamless transaction execution. You will maintain a thorough understanding of commercial real estate finance products, including loan servicing and fund management structures. You will leverage your entrepreneurial drive to identify emerging opportunities and position Northmarq as a trusted advisor in the marketplace. You will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all client interactions and business dealings.
Requirements
You must hold a current valid real estate license in the state you will be working or obtain one within the first 90 days of beginning with Northmarq. You must bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant investment sales experience with a proven transaction track record to the role. You must be incredibly self-motivated and tenacious, thriving in an environment with uncapped potential. You must demonstrate the desire and ability to effectively build and manage your own book of business within a team framework. You must possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset that drives initiative and innovation in your work approach. Your track record must indicate success in generating new business and building relationships through repeat client engagement. You must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment that demands consistent performance and accountability. You must have experience performing similar responsibilities in a full-time capacity prior to joining this position. This role is not an entry-level position and requires a deep understanding of commercial real estate investment sales. You must be willing to commit to the in-office work model with an immediate start date as outlined in the position details.
Practical notes
You must adhere to the in-office work requirement and start on the immediately available date. This position operates as a 1099 independent contractor full commission team agreement incentive plan basis, aligning your earnings directly with your performance.
