About the role
Newform is a creative intelligence firm that manages over $100 million in annual paid media spend for brands such as Kalshi, ElevenLabs, and Babbel. We are looking for an Associate Producer to manage high-volume, phone-first video production and grow into a full Content Producer role. In this capacity, you will own the end to end execution of shoots from pre production planning through on set management and post handoff. You will serve as the primary point of contact for on camera talent ensuring their experience is efficient and comfortable. You will translate creative direction into precise actions while maintaining strict adherence to brand quality standards. You will leverage your judgment to solve logistical hurdles that appear during fast paced production days. You will contribute directly to the reliability and scalability of our production pipeline. You will play a key role in helping the team deliver consistent content that supports brand campaigns and performance goals.

What you'll do
- Manage and execute solo video shoots, focusing on UGC and lo fi lifestyle content.
- Handle camera, lighting, and audio setup for your productions with attention to detail.
- Direct and provide actionable feedback to on camera talent to achieve the intended performance.
- Manage studio schedules and equipment logistics to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Assist senior producers on complex shoots to expand your technical and directing skills.
- Organize and deliver footage to the editing team with clear instructions and metadata.
- Maintain studio inventory and ensure the office space is prepared for creators and production needs.
- Monitor shot lists and run sheets to keep production on schedule and aligned with campaign targets.
- Track daily progress against key milestones and communicate any risks or delays proactively.
- Implement best practices for file naming, backups, and version control to support the editing workflow.
- Collaborate with creative strategists to refine concepts and optimize content for short form platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in setup, shoot, and wrap processes.
- Support testing of new formats, framing techniques, and audio approaches during production.
- Document recurring issues and propose practical solutions to streamline future shoots.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of hands on production experience or professional experience coaching on camera talent.
- Proficiency with camera, lighting, and audio gear or strong directing abilities demonstrated in past work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and logistics during active shoot days without dropping the ball.
- Strong understanding of current short form social media trends and how they influence content decisions.
- Ability to remain composed and solve problems when production challenges arise unexpectedly.
- Willingness to follow processes while actively seeking ways to improve them over time.
- Commitment to showing up reliably and meeting deadlines in a fast moving, deadline driven environment.
- Openness to receiving direction and feedback from senior producers and creative leadership.
- Capacity to work independently and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
- Professional communication skills to coordinate with talent, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform hands on setup and breakdown of production equipment as needed.
- Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements for this role.
- Current eligibility to reside and work in New York City on a consistent basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in production or media are a plus.

- Travel is not required for this role as all work is performed at the New York City office.
