About the role
Netomi is at the forefront of developing an intelligent AI platform tailored for enterprise customer experiences, collaborating with renowned global brands such as Delta Airlines, MetLife, MGM, and United. We are on the lookout for a Staff Product Designer who will spearhead essential design initiatives for our control tower, a pivotal feature that allows users to manage and oversee their AI agents. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming intricate technical specifications into seamless and user-friendly experiences that shape how enterprises engage with our innovative technology.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee the complete design lifecycle for platform projects, starting from the initial identification of issues to the final rollout of solutions.
- Integrate agent configuration, monitoring, and governance into a unified and intuitive interface that enhances customer usability.
- Create self-service onboarding experiences and in-product educational resources to facilitate our shift towards a product-led growth strategy.
- Collaborate directly with enterprise clients to uncover challenges and devise effective solutions for complex customer experience scenarios.
- Establish design standards, systems, and quality metrics that will guide the work of both engineering and design teams.
- Work in close partnership with product management, engineering, and customer success teams across various geographical locations.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions and improve user experience.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the design team by sharing best practices and insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our design approach remains innovative and competitive.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization, ensuring that the voice of the customer is always considered.
- Prepare and present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance the final product.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure that product messaging aligns with the user experience and design vision.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in product design, particularly in B2B or enterprise SaaS contexts.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, data platforms, developer tools, or workflow management software is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale, ambiguous projects from ideation through to successful launch.
- Ability to work independently, identifying challenges, building consensus among teams, and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong systems thinking capabilities, with a focus on creating comprehensive frameworks rather than just isolated interfaces.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- A robust portfolio that demonstrates your design expertise, attention to detail, and the measurable impact of your work on complex products.
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing practices is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience in working with agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Previous involvement in the AI or machine learning space, particularly in a design capacity.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in product design.
- Experience in leading design workshops or design sprints to foster collaboration and innovation.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices in product design.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
