The Senior Broadcast Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales), EMEA is a strategic, customer-facing technical leader within NETGEAR's growing Broadcast business. What you'll do

You will serve as the senior technical authority for IP networking within broadcast and live production environments across EMEA, owning the technical narrative for NETGEAR solutions. You will lead pre-sales engagements by designing and validating network architectures tailored for broadcast and professional A/V customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate with OEM partners such as Riedel, EVS, Clear-Com, Panasonic, and Grass Valley to ensure interoperability and joint solution alignment that meets demanding production standards. You will design and support IP-based media workflows including AES67, Dante, Ravenna, SMPTE ST 2110, NDI, and IPMX, translating customer requirements into robust technical designs. You will build and maintain lab environments, testbeds, and demos dedicated to validation, partner enablement, and customer engagements to de-risk deployments. You will partner with Sales, Business Development, and Alliances to drive technical win strategies and shape solution design early in the sales cycle, influencing outcomes at critical moments. You will deliver technical enablement for internal SE teams and partners through training, documentation, and best practices that strengthen the overall solution portfolio. You will provide field feedback to Product and Engineering on switching performance, multicast behaviour, QoS, redundancy models, and timing-sensitive environments to inform product evolution. You will represent NETGEAR at industry events such as NAB, IBC, and InfoComm through demos, presentations, and thought leadership that enhance brand credibility. You will continuously expand your technical and commercial impact by engaging with emerging broadcast technologies and customer use cases across the region.

Requirements

You must possess hands-on experience in broadcast, live production, or professional A/V environments combined with a strong foundation in IP networking to succeed in this role. You must have practical knowledge of broadcast audio and IP video technologies including AES67, Dante, Ravenna, SMPTE ST 2110, NDI, and IPMX in real-world scenarios. You must have experience supporting production facilities, OB trucks, post-production, intercom systems, or enterprise studios to understand operational constraints. You must have prior customer-facing experience in pre-sales engineering, system design, or technical consulting to communicate effectively with stakeholders. You must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders in high-pressure situations. You must have experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to align technical and commercial goals. You must be willing to travel frequently, including internationally across EMEA, to support customer engagements and partner events. You must be legally authorized to work in the UK, as this is a UK-based position requiring local compliance.
