• In this role, you will review clinical documentation, contribute to clinical report writing, and provide guidance to ordering clinicians.
• You will also serve as a genomic testing resource for internal teams, help ensure efficient and accurate order processing, and collaborate cross-functionally to support various projects.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review clinical documentation and extract appropriate HPO terms to support interpretation and reporting</li> <li>Draft clinical reports across proactive and rare disease whole genome sequencing products</li> <li>Perform variant assessment and classification across proactive and rare disease whole genome sequencing products.</li> <li>Provide genomic genetic testing expertise and support to the internal client services team regarding test selection, test performance, and laboratory processes.</li> <li>Leverage awareness of current processes and systems to suggest ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness</li> <li>Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and maintain excellent patient and provider satisfaction.</li> <li>Develop clinical content, including patient-facing education materials and provider resources, to support clear communication and effective use of genetic testing results. </li> <li>Collaborate on publications, product launches, marketing pieces, and other projects as opportunities arise.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Ne</strong><strong>ed:</strong></p> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li>MS in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program and ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required or PhD with clinical diagnostic experience. </li> <li>1-3 years of previous clinical genetics experience</li> <li>Previous laboratory genetics experience in the exome/genome space preferred</li> <li>Must possess a strong working knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts</li> <li>Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and organized</li> <li>Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging content for a variety of audiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location and
