Founding Enterprise Account Executive
Job description
About the role
Mutiny is seeking a Founding Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead the execution of enterprise revenue strategy from inception to scale. In this role, you will act as the primary strategic advisor to marquee customers, owning the full spectrum of complex, multi-threaded deals from initial discovery through close and multi-year expansion. You will leverage Mutiny's AI-powered platform to align product value with the specific economic and operational pressures faced by enterprise buying committees. Every interaction will serve a dual purpose: securing durable revenue and providing critical feedback that directly informs the product roadmap. You will be instrumental in defining and articulating the narrative of why Mutiny is the essential infrastructure for revenue velocity in the current market. This position is for a builder who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by shaping the playbook for a category-defining company. The work you do will directly influence the product and go-to-market strategy, ensuring the solution evolves with real-world enterprise needs.
Key facts
What you'll do
Execute a repeatable enterprise sales motion, discovering and closing net-new logo acquisition across a portfolio of strategic named accounts.
Champion the customer's business problems internally, translating complex stakeholder needs into a clear, compelling vision for how Mutiny's AI infrastructure drives measurable revenue outcomes.
Navigate intricate buying committees by identifying economic buyers, coaches, and end-users, tailoring value propositions to each role's specific pressures and incentives.
Partner with the CEO and product leadership to define and refine the Mutiny story, ensuring the narrative resonates with the ambition and urgency of high-growth enterprises.
Own the end-to-end deal cycle, from initial exploration and discovery through negotiation, procurement, and final close, while maintaining strict adherence to methodology.
Architect and document the enterprise sales playbook, codifying best practices from first touch to expansion so that future teams can scale efficiently.
Conduct deep discovery sessions to uncover latent business problems and connect them directly to the operational and financial impact of adopting Mutiny's platform.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams, turning qualitative feedback from enterprise deals into prioritized roadmap improvements and feature requests.
Qualify opportunities with rigor, applying formal sales frameworks to assess fit, timing, and stakeholder alignment before investing significant resources.
Act as a hands-on domain expert, capable of running product demos, answering technical questions, and troubleshooting prospect use cases during the evaluation process.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and V.P. stakeholders, positioning yourself as a long-term strategic advisor rather than a transactional seller.
Identify and drive expansion revenue opportunities within existing enterprise accounts, uncovering new use cases and teams that can benefit from the platform.
Leverage AI tools and data signals to optimize outreach, prioritize targets, and personalize engagement at scale without losing the human touch.
Represent Mutiny in external forums and conversations, contributing to the company's thought leadership and brand positioning in the AI GTM category.
Continuously analyze deal metrics and pipeline health, adjusting strategies in real time to maximize conversion rates and average deal size.
Requirements
You have owned and closed net-new logo acquisition in complex, enterprise software sales, demonstrating a consistent ability to exceed quota and navigate lengthy sales cycles.
You possess formal sales training and methodology expertise, such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales, and you actively apply these frameworks to structure and de-risk enterprise deals.
You have led deals with stakeholders ranging from executive sponsors to day-to-day users, building relationships that persist beyond a single transaction or fiscal quarter.
You are exceptionally coachable, adapting quickly to new environments, feedback, and evolving market conditions while maintaining a high standard of execution.
You are highly competitive by nature, with a proven track record of playing to win, learning from losses, and driving yourself and your team to outperform quotas.
You excel at deep discovery, connecting ambiguous business pain to specific product outcomes and framing why now, why us, and why the buyer should care in a concise and compelling manner.
You are a trailblazer and builder who thrives in ambiguity, using curiosity and experimentation to uncover new pathways for growth and efficiency.
You are resourceful and fullstack, comfortable running your own demos, conducting technical research, and answering detailed questions without relying on extensive support.
You are a natural leader who earns trust, listens actively, and influences peers and stakeholders through clarity and conviction.
Nice to have
Experience selling AI-native or data infrastructure platforms to enterprise customers.
Background in industries such as logistics, fintech, or high-scale SaaS where operational velocity is critical.
