About the role
MongoDB is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused leader to oversee our global Candidate Experience (CEx) operations. This position involves managing the candidate journey across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, while building a high-performing team of coordinators. Your goal will be to ensure that every candidate has a positive experience, regardless of the outcome.
We are in search of a strategic and data-savvy leader who can transform insights into actionable strategies, assess and improve workflows for operational efficiency, and utilize automation and AI to enhance our processes. The ideal candidate will mentor regional leads, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and uphold high standards for candidate satisfaction and scheduling efficiency.

What you'll do
- Develop and manage a distributed team of Candidate Experience Leads and Coordinators across AMER, EMEA, and APAC, fostering an inclusive culture that aligns regional needs with global standards.
- Set and monitor performance metrics such as scheduling SLAs and candidate satisfaction scores, while implementing operational safeguards to prevent and address any issues in the candidate experience.
- Design and refine our global operating model by forecasting capacity needs based on factors like interview complexity and regional differences, balancing team workload effectively.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and create standardized hiring processes that enhance the candidate experience.
- Take a comprehensive approach to the candidate lifecycle, identifying opportunities for improvement and executing strategic initiatives that enhance the overall experience at each recruitment stage.
- Translate operational data into strategic insights for senior leadership, maintaining regular reporting to navigate stakeholder challenges effectively.
- Manage relationships with key scheduling technology vendors and cross-functional partners, ensuring optimal system performance and feature utilization.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in recruiting operations, candidate experience, or talent acquisition, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role leading distributed teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and interpret operational data using tools like Google Sheets to analyze team capacity and identify scheduling issues.
- Experience in conducting workflow audits and implementing automation, with familiarity in modern scheduling platforms such as GoodTime, ModernLoop, Guide, and Ashby.
- Proven ability to negotiate with various business units to achieve a balance between global consistency and necessary local adaptations.
- A track record of taking ownership of complex programs and operational challenges, turning setbacks into effective operational frameworks.

MongoDB's base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $73,000 to $143,000. Compensation varies based on individual qualifications, experience, and location. This salary is part of a comprehensive benefits package that may include equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, a 401(k) plan, mental health support, and health benefits. Please note that the salary range and benefits mentioned apply only to candidates based in the U.S.
