What you'll do

• Assess and validate market-entry strategies by conducting a thorough analysis of the French healthcare environment, focusing on funding mechanisms, reimbursement protocols, and procurement pathways.
• Develop and nurture relationships with rehabilitation service providers, hospital networks, insurance payers, and professional organizations to establish significant partnerships that will serve as beacons for our brand.
• Understand and comply with national and regional regulations, including data protection laws, to ensure that all operations meet legal requirements.
• Offer valuable insights into the local market to guide the development of the FICUS rehabilitation operating system, ensuring it aligns with regional needs.
• Initially operate as a senior individual contributor, with the opportunity to build and lead a local team as the business grows.
• Oversee commercial negotiations and craft a long-term strategy for scaling operations in France, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market demands and customer expectations.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Report on performance metrics and provide updates to the founding team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the French healthcare or rehabilitation sectors, with a background in clinic management, healthcare consulting, or roles within digital health commercialization.
• Extensive understanding of the decision-making processes and funding structures within the French healthcare system.
• Demonstrated experience in hospital care, rehabilitation services, or related markets, showcasing your ability to navigate these environments effectively.
• An established professional network among key stakeholders in the French healthcare ecosystem, including payers and clinic operators.
• Proven track record of successfully launching new business units, entering new markets, or establishing commercial operations from the ground up.
• Capability to thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability without a predefined framework.
• Fluency in French and a strong command of English, enabling effective communication in both languages.
• Willingness to travel frequently within France and to the Berlin headquarters as needed.
