About the role
Mejuri stylists serve as the first point of contact within Mejuri stores, owning the full in-store customer experience from greeting to checkout and beyond. They are responsible for building genuine relationships, actively listening to customer needs, and translating the Mejuri story into personalized recommendations that reflect the brand's values of self-expression and modern fine jewelry. Stylists operate with high energy and curiosity, creating a warm, welcoming, and confident environment where every interaction reinforces trust and clarity. They are accountable for their section of the store, collaborating closely with teammates to uphold brand standards and ensure consistency in messaging and service quality. This role requires fluency in both French and English, as communication accuracy and professionalism are central to the position. Ultimately, the stylist drives sales through consultative selling, product knowledge, and a customer-first mindset that turns first-time visitors into loyal Mejuri advocates.
What you'll do
- Greet customers promptly and authentically, establishing rapport while explaining the Mejuri value proposition in clear, relatable terms.
- Guide clients through the product assortment, using detailed product knowledge to match items to personal style preferences and occasions.
- Assess customer needs through open questioning and attentive listening, then propose tailored solutions that enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing displays, refreshing product samples, and ensuring presentation areas remain clean and inviting.
- Support point of sale operations, including transaction processing, receipt handling, and secure storage of customer purchases.
- Contribute to loss prevention efforts by following security protocols, monitoring fitting rooms, and maintaining organized stock areas.
- Collaborate with retail team members to share best practices, product updates, and feedback that improves overall store performance.
- Track key performance indicators such as conversion rate, average order value, and sales targets, adjusting tactics to meet or exceed goals.
- Represent Mejuri professionally at all times, demonstrating brand values through appearance, communication, and ethical conduct.
- Escort customers through the purchase journey, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and satisfied from entry to departure.
- Keep current with new collections, limited drops, and promotional offers to communicate accurate and timely information to clients.
- Document customer preferences and feedback when appropriate, helping inform future merchandising and product decisions.
- Uphold health and safety standards within the store, including proper handling of jewelry and adherence to operational guidelines.
- Close out shifts with end of day responsibilities, reconciling sales where relevant and preparing the space for the next opening.
Requirements
- Fluency in both French and English is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and comply with Mejuri employment policies.
- Availability to work the scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods as required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level customer service in a fast paced retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build trust and engage diverse clients.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle jewelry securely, and perform basic visual merchandising tasks.
