What you'll do
Coordinate with store leadership to design immersive retail experiences that align with Mejuri's mission of self-expression through fine jewelry.
Champion our customer-obsessed values by proactively gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to elevate the in-store and digital journey.
Partner with merchandising and visual teams to ensure product storytelling is clear, compelling, and consistent across all channels.
Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive results that support ambitious retail goals.
Lead training initiatives that empower new and tenured team members to embody our values and deliver exceptional service.
Cultivate relationships with corporate and community partners to strengthen our presence in Vancouver and beyond.
Implement creative loss prevention and operational processes that protect our brand while maintaining a frictionless guest experience.
Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership and store teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and brand standards.
Explore innovative retail concepts and partnerships that reflect our commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainable practices.
Support the launch of new product lines and campaigns, ensuring every interaction reinforces our promise of celebrating everyday moments.
Guide customers through personalized styling journeys that highlight the emotional connection between person and piece.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify best practices and areas where we can raise the bar in retail excellence.
Contribute to talent development by mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Act as an ambassador for Mejuri in the Vancouver community, representing the brand at events and local initiatives.
Requirements
You must possess a valid right to work in Canada without sponsorship, as visa support is not available for this role.
You must be legally eligible to work in Vancouver, BC, and meet all municipal, provincial, and federal employment regulations.
You must be able to commit to a consistent schedule that aligns with peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
You must have a minimum of two years of progressive experience in retail management or a customer-facing leadership role.
You must demonstrate a deep understanding of luxury retail operations and customer service excellence.
You must be fluent in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and adaptability is essential.
You must be willing to relocate to or remain within the Greater Vancouver area to ensure operational consistency.
Nice to have
Experience with direct-to-consumer jewelry retail brands and e-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and loss prevention best practices.
Knowledge of sustainable and responsible sourcing practices within the luxury goods sector.
Experience leading cross-functional collaboration between retail, marketing, and merchandising teams.
Practical notes
This is a retail position based in Vancouver with availability for in-person shifts required.
Hours will vary based on store demand, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
Travel is not expected for this role, as responsibilities are anchored in the Vancouver location.
