About the role
Join Forvis Mazars as a Junior Financial Auditor in Lons-le-Saunier, where you will play a pivotal role in our audit services. What you'll do
- Conduct audits focusing on the certification of both individual and consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare and formalize audit documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Perform data analysis to support audit findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals across three sites in the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored audit solutions.
- Participate in the evaluation of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and practices.
- Develop your analytical skills by working in various sectors, including industry, services, banking, public sector, and associations.

Requirements
- A degree at the bac+5 level from a business school, engineering school, or university.
- Prior experience or a significant internship in auditing or accounting is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in English is a plus, along with familiarity with relevant software tools.
