What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of robust systems and integrations that support Makeship's product ecosystem, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain APIs and other integration points that facilitate communication between various systems and services.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on systems architecture and integrations.

- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture, demonstrating the ability to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience in deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
