• Establish build procedures that synchronize testing rig operations with Mainspring Energy generator assembly sequences to minimize downtime and ensure test readiness.
• Create review routines that compare real-time data against defined specifications for every generator run, analyzing deviations to drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate ship validation activities to confirm that trial runs satisfy release quality standards before customer deployment.
• Forge partner-oriented test protocols with validation teams at AEP and NextEra Energy Resources to ensure requirements consistency and shared quality objectives.
• Implement measurement scripts that exercise generator performance across varying fuel conditions, using data to inform design refinements.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and observed results to ensure audit readiness and support regulatory compliance.
• Guide partners, including Schneider Electric, through quality gates using clear, accessible documentation to prevent misinterpretation.
• Operate measurement systems and data acquisition tools to capture generator performance metrics during hardware validation and endurance testing.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, failure modes, and process improvements, translating findings into actionable engineering changes.
• Develop and maintain test plans that cover functional, environmental, and durability scenarios for linear generator assemblies.
• Support root cause analysis activities by correlating test results with manufacturing processes and component variations.
• Monitor test rig instrumentation and calibration to ensure measurement integrity and data reliability across test campaigns.
• Facilitate cross-functional reviews to align quality objectives with project schedules and technical constraints.

Requirements

• Must hold three years of experience in quality engineering or related technical roles, with hardware validation experience strongly emphasized.
• Hands-on familiarity with generator hardware testing and measurement tools is mandatory for success in this role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with data acquisition systems is expected as part of daily testing responsibilities.
• Must be capable of managing multiple test campaigns concurrently while maintaining detailed, organized records.
• Organization and attention to detail are non-negotiable traits given the complexity of validation activities.
