What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability and reduce regression issues.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges and career development.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Proven track record of building and deploying web applications in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of database design and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
