About the role
This role develops and tests digital signal processing and wireless protocols for Lynk's direct to device systems. The work targets integration with software-defined radio and FPGA platforms used in spacecraft and ground systems. Success supports global mobile broadband connectivity for standard phones across all continents.

Requirements
Hold a Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced study deepens theory and practice for space communications.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms, including filter design, clock recovery, signal detection, channel estimation and equalization, and channel coding.
Bring strong knowledge of communications and networking standards such as DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X, and protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, ZeroMQ, and Ethernet. Standards compliance ensures interoperability across ground and space segments.
Apply experience with C/C++, Python, and MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation. These languages support rapid prototyping and performance validation.
Show strong knowledge of software defined radios and their implementation in satellite contexts. SDRs bridge laboratory prototypes and flight hardware.
Work comfortably with Linux based systems for development, testing, and deployment. Linux tools power ground stations and many on-board data handling tasks.
Hands-on experience in lab testing and characterization of radio and signal processing components is required. Practical measurements validate simulations and guide integration.
Use test equipment such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers to verify performance and troubleshoot issues.
