Key facts
What you'll do
You analyze how healthcare operations currently function to define workflows, constraints, and success criteria with customers. Solutions are designed, built, and operated using AI-driven methods to solve real operational problems. Production services are managed through APIs, integrations, monitoring, and feedback loops that you own completely end to end. Technical architectures and implementations emerge from business requirements and customer needs, and these systems run in high-stakes environments. You own deployments end to end, guiding them from initial scoping through launch and ongoing iteration.
Requirements
You write strong Python code, and experience with TypeScript or JavaScript is helpful. You work with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure to deliver reliable solutions. You turn vague requirements into working, production-ready systems that operators can use immediately. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining speed and judgment in urgent settings. You take high ownership for outcomes and operate independently when priorities change quickly. Experience with AI systems, including LLMs, vector databases, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks, is a strong advantage.
Practical notes
The team works in-office four days a week, with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday as common office days and Wednesday as an optional WFH day in either San Francisco, California or New York, New York. Typical interview steps
Leadership hiring usually includes a strategy case, a people scenario, and a values conversation. Candidates may be asked to turn around a struggling team or plan for growth. Past results are examined closely, especially how decisions were made. Interviewers dig into specific decisions you made and their consequences.
