About the role
You will own the full customer lifecycle for a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, acting as the primary technical liaison between LILT's engineering and product teams and the client's business stakeholders. In this capacity, you will translate complex business requirements into technical integration plans and oversee their execution from initial discovery through production deployment. You will leverage deep AI expertise to advise clients on model selection, inference optimization, and workflow design, ensuring that LILT's platform directly supports their operational and financial objectives. You will also serve as a hands-on engineer, writing and deploying code on-site to resolve blockers and fine-tune integrations in real-world environments. You will mentor client teams on platform capabilities and adoption best practices, fostering independence and long-term success. You will synthesize client feedback from the field and communicate actionable insights to product and engineering leadership to influence the LILT roadmap. You will maintain rigorous technical documentation and play a key role in knowledge transfer across internal teams to scale impact. This role demands comfort with frequent global travel to work alongside clients and close collaboration with cross-functional internal partners.

What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end technical onboarding for enterprise customers, designing integration architectures and configuring API connections and data workflows.
- Design and implement bespoke LILT solutions in collaboration with Sales, Solutions Architects, Product, and Engineering to satisfy detailed client specifications.
- Perform on-site engineering activities, including gathering requirements, prototyping solutions, and writing production code to address client needs.
- Deliver on-site training and hands-on support to client teams, enabling them to operate efficiently within the LILT environment.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for escalated issues, driving rapid diagnosis, resolution, and validation in production.
- Provide expert-level technical consultation on LLM operations, inference strategies, and workflow optimization to maximize client value.
- Establish a structured feedback loop, capturing client pain points, feature requests, and product insights for transmission to Engineering and Product.
- Author and maintain technical artifacts such as integration playbooks, troubleshooting guides, and configuration references.
- Apply strong business acumen to align technical solutions with client strategic goals around growth, efficiency, and risk management.
- Travel frequently, up to 25-35%, to client locations worldwide, adapting to varied time zones and working conditions.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Bring 5 or more years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Support Engineer.
- Demonstrate a current understanding of how Large Language Models are trained and how inference is executed in production systems.
- Show knowledge of batch learning, online learning, and context windows, including their practical impact on solution design and customer value.
- Analyze trade-offs involving inference speed, learning efficiency, model sizes, and cost structures to recommend optimal configurations.
- Maintain awareness of best-in-class AI tools relevant to a wide range of enterprise workflows and adoption processes.
- Have direct experience using Model Context Protocol (MCP) to build agentic workflows and integrations.
- Exhibit strong business acumen, using this capability to focus customers on achieving measurable business outcomes tied to growth and efficiency.
- Possess a solid grasp of software integration principles and hands-on experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or JavaScript.
- Have background executing enterprise software deployments and integrations in complex operational environments.
- Apply excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues under pressure.
- Communicate with exceptional clarity, delivering presentations and written narratives to both technical and executive audiences.
- Build and sustain productive relationships through outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Practical notes
