Product Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for key platform features, translating user needs into reliable frontend and backend solutions. You will design and iterate on the Lightning AI developer experience, ensuring that the platform remains intuitive, performant, and secure for diverse workloads. You will collaborate closely with research, product, and design teams to validate hypotheses, prototype new interactions, and refine user flows based on real feedback. You will drive measurable improvements in reliability, scalability, and developer productivity through data-informed decisions and disciplined experimentation. You will take responsibility for scoping complex initiatives, breaking them into actionable milestones, and delivering outcomes on schedule. You will champion best practices in testing, observability, and maintainability to ensure long-term platform health. You will mentor and enable other engineers by sharing knowledge, improving documentation, and elevating the overall quality bar.
