What you'll do

• Conduct detailed CCTV inspections of drainage systems to assess their condition and identify any defects or blockages.
• Analyze video footage and data collected during inspections to prepare comprehensive reports on the findings.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop effective solutions for identified drainage issues, ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
• Maintain and operate CCTV inspection equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition and adhering to safety protocols.
• Liaise with clients to discuss inspection results, provide recommendations, and address any concerns they may have regarding their drainage systems.
• Assist in the planning and execution of drainage maintenance and repair projects, ensuring minimal disruption to clients and the surrounding environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to drainage inspection and maintenance.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in drainage engineering and CCTV technology.
• Document all inspection activities and findings accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in drainage engineering or a related field, with a focus on CCTV inspection techniques.
• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, drainage engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV inspection equipment and understanding of drainage systems and their components.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inspection data and produce detailed reports.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in drainage engineering.
• A valid driving license, as travel to various sites will be required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

• Experience with other drainage maintenance techniques, such as jetting or root cutting.

• Certification in confined space entry or other relevant safety training.
