About the role

Lambda is scaling its infrastructure to provide global access to supercomputing power. This role focuses on managing corporate growth, financing, and acquisition strategies to support our expansion in the AI cloud market. You will own the strategic assessment of potential acquisitions and partnerships that accelerate our technical roadmap. The position requires synthesizing complex financial and operational data into clear narratives for the executive team. You will be instrumental in structuring transactions that align with our long-term vision for decentralized compute. This role operates at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy to drive sustainable scale. You will play a key role in determining how capital is allocated to maximize shareholder and operational value.

What you'll do

• Orchestrate the end-to-end management of mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and capital raising initiatives encompassing both debt and equity instruments.
• Engineer sophisticated financial models that simulate merger structures and project finance scenarios to rigorously evaluate the economic merit of prospective transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence and valuation analysis to appraise target assets and validate assumptions that underpin high-stakes executive decisions.
• Synthesize intricate financial data into compelling business case memos and executive presentations that articulate value propositions to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Analyze competitive dynamics and evolving market trends to iteratively refine our financing strategies and long-term growth trajectory in the AI cloud sector.
• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with a network of lenders, investors, and strategic partners to enhance our market presence and access to capital.
• Evaluate capital structure alternatives to optimize our balance sheet and support future investment in infrastructure and innovation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with technical and operational teams to ensure financial diligence aligns with product development and deployment timelines.
• Monitor macroeconomic conditions and regulatory landscapes to identify risks and opportunities that could impact our financial and growth strategies.
• Drive the documentation and negotiation processes for transactions to ensure compliance and alignment with corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the domains of investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or private credit.
• Demonstrate proficiency in constructing detailed company and merger models, alongside advanced debt financing analysis capabilities.
• Exhibit the ability to manage multiple complex and concurrent workstreams within a rapid-growth and high-pressure environment.
• Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for delivering executive-level presentations and negotiations.
• Show a deep and genuine interest in the specific sectors of cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
• Adhere to the requirement of being available for 4 days of in-office presence per week at our San Francisco or upcoming New York City location.
• Comply with the policy that Tuesday is designated as a remote work day.

This position mandates a schedule of 4 days of in-office presence per week at our San Francisco or upcoming New York City location, with Tuesday specifically reserved as a remote work day.
