Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Geology is mandatory for this role.
At least 10 years of experience in sediment-hosted copper mineral systems is required.
Significant advanced project experience with exposure to resource development and technical studies requirements is necessary.
Familiarity with JORC or Ni:43101 reporting standards is required for reporting consistency.
Excellent communication and reporting skills ensure clarity for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to use geoscience data to think predictively and insightfully about exploration targeting is essential.
Experience with drill core handling procedures such as core logging and sampling is required.
Experience supervising multiple drill rigs is necessary to manage field campaigns effectively.
Strong intellectual curiosity drives continuous learning in evolving exploration environments.
Good computer skills including working knowledge of QGIS and Leapfrog Geo are required.
Nice to have
Exposure to GIS and 3D modeling softwares, such as QGIS/ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Python, and/or ioGAS is preferred.
A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
