Position Introduction
Kelso Industries seeks a Corporate Paralegal to join its legal and compliance function. This role is responsible for end-to-end governance of the company's MEP+ operating companies. The position focuses on structuring documentation, ensuring compliance, and establishing clear operational processes. Success in this role will support entity integrity, audit readiness, and scalable growth across the organization. The position is based in Draper, Utah, and operates as a full-time role with a fixed-term compensation package.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Paralegal will serve as the primary coordinator for corporate records and licensing activities. You will intake and organize governance documents and licensing data to maintain accurate corporate records. This includes building and managing entity filings, license renewals, and contract administration workflows that meet multi-state requirements. You will ensure all documentation reflects current and compliant standards.
A core function of this role is reviewing compliance packages and audit materials for accuracy and completeness. You will prepare these materials for internal reviews and external examinations, ensuring they meet required standards. You will also manage the timely submission of business licensing updates and other governance deliverables to prevent operational disruption across jurisdictions.
The position requires close partnership with operating company leaders. You will align documentation standards and improve the consistency of legal processes throughout the organization. You will coordinate document collection and preservation activities during disputes and track related invoice reviews. Maintaining contract repositories and updating document templates will be part of your effort to streamline retrieval and clarify workflows. You will actively monitor state compliance calendars to ensure registrations, filings, and licenses remain current and valid.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in paralegal work, legal operations, or corporate governance. Demonstrated experience managing licensing programs across multiple states and regulatory environments is essential. A strong understanding of corporate records management, compliance processes, and legal documentation fundamentals is required.
You must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. The ability to perform effectively in fast-paced settings while managing multiple priorities is critical. You will work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at various levels across the company.
Compensation and Application Details
The role offers an annual compensation of $70,000.00 for a duration of 3 years. This position is designated as full-time and is based in Draper, Utah.

What you'll do
- Execute the full scope of work assigned to the Corporate Paralegal position at Kelso Industries as outlined in the position description.

Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in paralegal work, legal operations, or corporate governance roles.
