You translate facility goals into technology pathways and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Your work shapes how organizations manage infrastructure through data, visibility, and responsive service. You act as a trusted advisor within healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, and government verticals. You leverage discovery and analysis to align client objectives with scalable control strategies. You ensure every solution advances efficiency, comfort, and operational excellence for complex facility portfolios.

What you'll do
Generating qualified opportunities by mapping stakeholder needs and territory potential within healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, and government segments.
Establishing relationships with facility leaders, engineers, and decision-makers while positioning controls, analytics, and integration solutions for operational excellence.
Conducting discovery sessions and facility walkthroughs to clarify requirements, document workflows, and translate observations into tailored proposals.
Developing value-based recommendations that highlight efficiency gains, visibility, comfort, and energy performance alongside return-on-investment narratives.
Managing the sales cycle through Salesforce CRM, forecasting pipelines, and negotiating agreements that transition smoothly to implementation partners.
Expanding existing accounts by identifying new use cases, coordinating service programs, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships.
Supporting solution design with engineering and operations teams to ensure technology fits building constraints and project delivery expectations.
Guiding projects from intake to handoff, aligning schedules, resources, and documentation so implementations meet customer expectations and safety standards.
Coordinating cross-functional alignment to resolve constraints, clarify scope, and maintain momentum across technical and commercial stakeholders.
Translating customer requirements into technical specifications that guide configuration, integration, and validation activities.
Tracking competitive landscape dynamics and incorporating feedback into positioning strategies that protect and grow market share.
Using data and performance metrics to refine sales approaches, optimize conversion rates, and demonstrate impact to executive sponsors.
Championing quality and compliance expectations throughout the sales lifecycle to reduce rework and support consistent delivery.
Building trusted consultative relationships that enable long-term account development and repeat business within assigned territories.
Requirements
You must hold at least three years of sales experience in building technologies, controls, or related facility solutions.
You must reside in or relocate to listed locations and hold authorization to work without sponsorship requirements.
You must demonstrate experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and stakeholders.
You must show ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and performance data while explaining benefits to diverse audiences.
You must commit to adhering to safety protocols and quality standards across all project phases.
You must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within and between assigned cities as required by customer needs.
You must be available to respond to customer inquiries during standard business hours and support after-hours escalations when required.
You must maintain confidentiality regarding customer data, project details, and internal operations at all times.
You must comply with company policies, reporting requirements, and professional conduct standards in every engagement.
Nice to have
Experience in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, or electrical markets is preferred.
Familiarity with fault detection, analytics platforms, and smart building technologies is advantageous.
Skills & tools
Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, presentation tools, and collaboration platforms standard for enterprise sales.
Practical notes

Assigned cities include Atlanta Georgia, Houston Texas, and Tampa Florida; travel within and between these locations is required.
