About the role
KAEFER is currently seeking experienced Advanced Scaffolders for ongoing work in the Gladstone Region, Queensland. $35 - $40.00 per hour Fulltime Job description: Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide work platforms on building, industrial and other sites, for temporary structures such as access ways, stages and catwalks, and for the purpose of painting, repairing, seating, disguising building facades, etc Check the construction requirements from visually inspecting the access requirement location, select materials and set ground levels, fit together steel pipes, support braces and clamps to form bases for scaffolds, lift and position sections of scaffolding and bolt pipes together to build up scaffolding; place planks over horizontal bars to create platforms, check levels in scaffolding structures, use prefabricated scaffolding when available, and dismantle scaffolding at the completion of a Job. Ensure correct tagging of scaffolding is in place. All scaffold components used and structures built are to comply with current Australian & New Zealand Standard AS/NZC 1576 and all other relevant standard as applicable. The successful candidate will be required to have the following: Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Advanced Scaffolder OHS Construction Induction White Card Current High Risk Licence Current Working at Heights ticket is essential Current Confined Space Access ticket Current Drivers Licence Have a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment Have an ability to work effectively in a team environment to ensure strict deadlines are met in a timely manner KAEFER Integrated Services is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages Females and Indigenous Australians to apply.
