Senior Marketing Manager
Job description
About the role
Senior Marketing Manager (B2B), Greater China
JetBrains is a global leader in developer tools, driven by a passion for code that shapes the modern world. With a user base exceeding 15 million and partnerships across 88 of the Fortune Global 100 companies, our influence is significant. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager (B2B) to spearhead the next phase of enterprise expansion in Greater China. This position is not a conventional brand role; it is a leadership position centered on revenue generation. Your primary mission is to architect a high-precision account-based marketing engine designed to unlock meaningful revenue from strategic managed accounts.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for localizing and executing our ABM strategy. This involves translating our global 1:1 and 1:few frameworks into programs that resonate with the diverse landscape of Chinese enterprises. You will build and manage the ABM infrastructure, identifying and managing local B2B agencies while curating a MarTech stack optimized for the unique constraints of the Chinese digital ecosystem. Leading a regional team of 2-3 marketers is a core duty, requiring you to manage, mentor, and empower them into a high-performance unit focused on account penetration and seamless sales alignment.
Owning revenue impact is central to this role. You will define and track marketing-influenced revenue and MROI, providing the global team with deep-dive insights into the behavior of Chinese B2B buyers. Piloting and scaling local campaign initiatives is also critical; you will design and run campaigns, documenting successful approaches for potential replication across other global markets. also, you will act as a strategic liaison, serving as the face of marketing to our local sales leadership and representing JetBrains as a senior spokesperson at industry events and executive briefings.
What You Bring to the Table
Your background must include at least eight years of B2B marketing experience with a strong emphasis on enterprise outcomes. A proven track record in ABM is essential, specifically demonstrated success in running 1:1 and 1:few programs that expanded contract values or resulted in high-value renewals. Fluency in the Chinese tech market is non-negotiable; you must understand the local developer ecosystem, the role of WeChat in B2B, and the specific procurement and decision-making cycles of Chinese enterprises.
A data-driven mindset is required, with solid experience working CRM and attribution tools. Leadership and presence are key, as you must command attention whether in a strategy session with the Global Lead or on a keynote stage at a developer conference.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) or developer tooling space hold a distinct advantage. A background in scaling marketing operations from manual processes to automated, system-driven execution is highly valued. Experience working within global, decentralized organizations, where balancing local needs against broader objectives is routine, is also sought after.
What It's Like to Work at JetBrains
Joining JetBrains means embracing autonomy; we trust you to be the expert in your market. Your successful pilots in China will have a global impact, influencing marketing strategies in Berlin, San Francisco, and beyond. The role offers significant benefits, including 25 days of paid vacation, supplementary medical insurance, and a generous budget for professional development, including global travel to tech conferences. Our culture is flexible and collaborative, where results matter more than hierarchy.
