What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and create a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation within the product space.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user personas and customer journeys to inform product decisions and enhancements.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on product features and improve user satisfaction.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to foster collaboration and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing updates to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, proactively addressing challenges that may arise during the lifecycle.
• Champion the adoption of best practices in product management and contribute to the development of internal processes and frameworks.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders regularly to gather insights and validate product concepts and features.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• A solid understanding of user experience design principles and the ability to work closely with UX/UI teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented.

Nice to have

• Experience in the HR tech industry or related fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
• Knowledge of software development processes and technologies, including familiarity with APIs and integrations.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a hands-on approach.

• Proficiency in product management software and tools, including roadmapping and backlog management platforms.
• Strong understanding of market research methodologies and techniques.
• Familiarity with user testing and feedback collection tools to enhance product development.
• Ability to create compelling presentations and reports to communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
