Recruiter
Job description
ABOUT THE ROLE
You are the person who ensures the engine of collections never stalls, even when the world around the candidate is spinning. You will run full-cycle searches for roles that span engineering, product, operations, and business, becoming the trusted extension of the hiring team. Each search you own from the very first sourcing ping to the final offer and acceptance, maintaining momentum for all involved. You will sharpen your instinct for spotting good talent across a wide range of roles, learning what drives a strong candidate to say yes. We treat recruiting as a rigorous discipline, and you will refine the process with the same curiosity you apply to every interaction. Over time, you will be coached to become a strategic partner who can advise and influence without authority.
YOUR IMPACT
- Run full-cycle searches for critical roles, owning 4-6 concurrent searches from initial sourcing through offer negotiation and close.
- Source and identify high-quality candidates using proactive methods such as LinkedIn outreach, advanced boolean searching, and targeted referrals.
- Read past the credential to distinguish truly strong candidates from those who merely look good on paper.
- Contribute to recruiting operations by maintaining clean data in our ATS and adhering to playbooks while flagging breakdowns early.
- Partner closely with hiring managers, running structured kickoffs and setting clear expectations around process and timeline.
- Hold a consistently high bar when evaluating candidates, escalating concerns early and often because quality beats speed.
- Bring curiosity to every interaction, uncovering what a candidate truly wants so you can sell the opportunity with authenticity rather than a script.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Curiosity is your core instrument; you ask the fewest, sharpest questions to understand what a candidate actually wants and why they are moving.
- You build a growing eye for talent, learning to read beyond titles and credentials to spot potential in unconventional backgrounds.
- You prioritize quality over speed, willing to pause a search and dig deeper rather than wave a borderline candidate through.
- You are a proactive sourcer who builds pipelines from scratch and does not rely solely on inbound applications.
- You demonstrate follow-through across multiple concurrent searches, ensuring candidates and hiring managers stay informed and engaged.
- You operate comfortably in ambiguity, moving confidently in a fast-paced environment where not every step is predefined.
- You bring 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a startup, tech company, or staffing/agency environment, with technical recruiting exposure being a valuable plus.
