Location: USA
Engagement: Full-time
Compensation: 180000 220000 USD for 2024 What you'll do Designing intake flows that capture context before a crisis escalates further. Crafting the borrower conversation through LLM systems that adapt in real time. Orchestrating outbound systems that tune message timing without constant human input. Building experimentation engines that refine communication across channels hourly. Partnering with compliance and legal to align rules with user empathy in every touchpoint. Shipping surface changes that turn missed payments into manageable next steps. Reviewing data patterns to distinguish signal from noise in consumer behavior. Coordinating with creditors so net recovery improves while friction for users shrinks. Defining product principles that guide decisions when information remains incomplete. Pushing LLM tooling into daily workflows so teams move faster than industry norms. Requirements You treat diagnosis without prescription as a risk you refuse to accept. You decide effectively even when data is missing by focusing on a few critical signals. You balance present needs against future outcomes instead of choosing only one. You maintain a high standard that separates acceptable products from exceptional ones. You update beliefs quickly when evidence contradicts earlier assumptions. You reason from clear data and design tests that isolate real causes. You already extend LLM tools into your own work and expect to go deeper. You have led a product from concept to measurable impact across teams and users. You enjoy building systems that did not exist before rather than refining existing ones. You bring at least five years of product management experience in complex environments. Nice to have Experience in finance, lending, or regulated industries where compliance matters. Skills & tools LLM systems, Python, SQL, experimentation platforms, analytics, and design thinking. Practical notes This role requires three days a week in our New York City office. Travel is not expected. Roles are eligible for US work authorization sponsorship. THE ROLE We are hiring product managers for two teams. We will figure out the right fit with you. You will report directly to the Founder and CEO, Jake https://www.linkedin.com/in/jakecahan/. We see these roles as some of the most important we will fill as we scale from a single product into a multi-product company. We are widening the aperture. Collections gave us one planet. The rest of the solar system comes next. One team owns the LLM infrastructure behind every consumer conversation: chatbot, voice, email and text. You will push it toward a borrower experience that adapts to each person in real time, further than the industry thinks possible. The other owns the systems that send millions of communications an hour, email, SMS and letters, plus the experimentation engine behind them. You will build toward outbound that tunes itself, learning what to say and when without a human in the loop. Both roles carry tremendous ownership to set a new standard: an opinionated strategy, the experiments that prove what works, and the systems that let the team make good calls without you in the room. You thrive in high-stakes systems, where legal, ethical and financial constraints sharpen your creativity instead of capping it. We have built the strongest team in the company's history. We love how fast new people make an impact. One hire doubled the effectiveness of a key machine learning model in their first week. WHAT WE NEED You treat prescription before diagnosis as a sin. You never stop at symptoms. You decompose to root causes fast. You decide with incomplete information. You find the few things that matter most and go get them quickly. You bring principles for what to do now and what to do later. You do not try to do everything at once. You hold an absurdly high bar. You know a couple of points is the difference between an average product and an exceptional one. You care more about making the best decision than about being right. You update fast when the evidence changes. You reason from data and design experiments that isolate cause. You go deep enough with engineers to argue about the system, not just the roadmap. You already push LLM tooling deep into your own work and want to go further than anyone has let you. You will build the skills and workflows the rest of the company runs on. You have owned a product strategy end to end and it moved something real. You love building 0 to
