What you'll do
- Conduct in depth analysis of live game performance and player behavior to define actionable adjustments that optimize key metrics.
- Architect the long term strategic vision for our mobile titles, translating abstract concepts into concrete roadmaps and measurable milestones.
- Design and manage comprehensive LiveOps frameworks, orchestrating events and content cadences that sustain player interest and maximize monetization.
- Oversee the financial health of our games, utilizing detailed forecasting and reporting to keep products on track for revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and nurture a high performing multidisciplinary team, establishing clear priorities and fostering an atmosphere of ownership and continuous learning.
- Enhance the end to end player journey by refining onboarding flows, progression systems, and social interactions to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments and external partners, articulating strategic rationale and potential outcomes with clarity.
- Evaluate competitive landscapes and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within our game portfolio.
- Implement rigorous testing methodologies to validate design hypotheses and ensure that product changes deliver intended results.
- Represent the studio at industry forums and internal gatherings, showcasing our successes and outlining future ambitions.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in the mobile free-to-play gaming sector.
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of hands on leadership managing a live mobile game or a dedicated product team.
- Provide evidence of successfully managing or exerting significant influence over a profit and loss statement.
- Exhibit advanced knowledge of LiveOps strategies and diverse free-to-play monetization models.
- Show a proven ability to boost player engagement and revenue through inventive product initiatives and iterations.
- Communicate with exceptional clarity, adapting messaging for varied audiences across internal and external channels.
- Apply strong analytical capabilities, leveraging data to inform decisions and challenge assumptions.
- Display resilience and adaptability in a fast paced, constantly evolving games environment.
Nice to have
- Experience developing and launching content for casual casino or social casino games.
- Background managing Bingo or card based game products and their unique mechanics.
- Familiarity with the complexities of scaling mature live service games to large audiences.
- Knowledge of experimentation frameworks and rigorous A/B testing methodologies.
- Experience partnering closely with User Acquisition and Customer Relationship Management teams to optimize growth.
- Involvement in the complete production cycle of a high profile free-to-play casual game, from initial concept through sustained live operations.
- Ability to rapidly prototype concepts and present compelling ideas to stakeholders to secure buy in.
Practical notes
This role is based in Toronto and requires full time onsite engagement. The position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in Canada.
