As a Mechanical Installation Site Manager at Bamboohr, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of mechanical systems across various projects. What you'll do
- Lead and supervise the mechanical installation teams on-site, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all mechanical installations are completed on time and within financial constraints.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure that installation processes align with design specifications and project goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and promoting a culture of safety among team members.
- Manage procurement processes for necessary materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and installation teams, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation processes, including reports on progress, challenges, and resolutions, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the installation process.
- Evaluate and implement best practices in mechanical installation techniques, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of project proposals and bids, providing technical insights and estimates based on previous experiences.
- Participate in post-installation evaluations to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical installation management or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mechanical installation projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, along with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in construction and mechanical installation.
