You collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data scientists to align technical implementations with strategic objectives and measurable outcomes. You act as a technical leader, mentoring junior team members and elevating the craftsmanship of the entire data team through code reviews and knowledge sharing. You contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices by experimenting with new tools, techniques, and automation opportunities. You represent Ippon with professionalism in all client interactions, reinforcing trust and long term partnerships. You ensure that every deployment is traceable, documented, and aligned with industry standards for security and compliance. You continuously refine your expertise by engaging with the wider data community and incorporating feedback into your daily work.
Key facts
What you'll do
Define and architect data platforms that meet functional and non functional requirements while supporting current and future business needs.
Develop scalable and maintainable data ingestion pipelines using distributed processing frameworks to handle high volume and variety of data sources.
Implement robust data transformation and enrichment processes that ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with data governance policies.
Orchestrate complex workflows across multiple systems, guaranteeing reliable execution, monitoring, and rapid troubleshooting of failures.
Optimize query performance and storage strategies across heterogeneous data stores to improve responsiveness and reduce operational costs.
Establish automated testing and continuous integration pipelines that validate data quality, schema evolution, and deployment safety for all data artifacts.
Integrate with cloud native services and managed offerings to build resilient, observable, and cost efficient data infrastructures.
Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models, focusing on feature stores, batch scoring, and real time inference pipelines.
Document data architectures, data flows, and operational runbooks to enable smooth handovers and effective knowledge transfer.
Contribute to the internal data community by sharing best practices, conducting brown bag sessions, and publishing articles based on mission experiences.
Engage with the global network of Ippon experts to exchange insights, compare implementation patterns, and elevate collective problem solving.
Participate in the selection and evaluation of new data technologies, assessing their fit for scalability, maintainability, and business impact.
Support production incidents with a structured approach, coordinating with cross functional teams to restore service and prevent recurrence.
Champion data quality initiatives by defining metrics, monitoring anomalies, and driving remediation actions across the data lifecycle.
Requirements
