What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of electrical designs, specifications, and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Perform simulations and modeling of electrical systems using industry-standard software to validate design concepts.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during the development and implementation phases, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology and methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates on electrical engineering aspects to stakeholders.
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients, showcasing the benefits and feasibility of proposed electrical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines, actively managing resources to achieve project goals efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and development.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety in engineering practices.
• Experience in project management and the ability to lead projects from conception to completion is a plus.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with renewable energy systems or smart grid technologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C++ for automation and control systems.
• Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent is advantageous.
• Familiarity with project management software and methodologies.
