What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop new game concepts and features that align with Bamboohr's vision and market trends.
• Participate in the design and implementation of engaging gameplay mechanics, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and player preferences, providing insights that inform product development strategies.
• Assist in the creation of high-quality game assets, including graphics, animations, and sound, working closely with artists and sound designers.
• Support the testing and debugging processes by identifying issues and suggesting improvements to enhance game performance and user satisfaction.
• Engage with the gaming community through forums and social media, gathering feedback and fostering a positive relationship with players.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies that effectively promote new releases and updates, leveraging your understanding of the gaming audience.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and competitor activities, sharing findings with the team to maintain a competitive edge.
• Participate in regular team meetings, providing input on project progress and collaborating on problem-solving initiatives.
• Document processes and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency in game development practices.
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth within the company.
• Assist in organizing and participating in gaming events and conventions to represent Bamboohr and connect with potential players and partners.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the gaming industry or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in game development tools and software, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, user experience design, and player engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
• A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of current trends and player preferences within the industry.

Nice to have

• Experience in project management or familiarity with Agile methodologies to streamline development processes.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, C++, or Java, which can be beneficial for technical roles.
• Previous experience in community management or customer support within the gaming sector.
• Familiarity with analytics tools to track player engagement and game performance metrics.
