Account Executive, UK & Ireland
This position is responsible for owning strategic growth within the UK and Ireland region for IFS Copperleaf. The successful candidate will manage the full spectrum of the sales intake process, from initial opportunity identification through to deal closure. The core mission is to translate complex enterprise challenges into compelling, value-based narratives that gain traction at the highest executive levels. Success in this role requires disciplined execution, resilience, and integrity across the entire customer lifecycle. The position focuses on building a sustainable pipeline of high-quality opportunities and converting them into lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
The Account Executive will be the primary driver for new business acquisition in the region. A significant portion of the role involves proactively identifying and qualifying potential opportunities. This includes conducting in-depth analysis to map stakeholder influence and build a comprehensive understanding of the client's organizational dynamics. You will be the champion of consultative dialogues, responsible for securing executive sponsorship and effectively steering complex decision-making committees.
A critical function is the development and communication of a distinct value proposition. You will work to forge strong market intelligence, keeping a constant watch on competitors and articulating how IFS Copperleaf's solutions provide a strategic advantage. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership and technical experts, to shape and refine solution narratives that directly address client pain points.
You will maintain rigorous pipeline management within the CRM system, ensuring that every suspect and prospect is documented with precision and discipline. This includes actively managing the sales process to ensure it highlights the strategic benefits of the solution. also, you will represent the company at industry functions, conferences, and association events, gathering insights and translating them into actionable market intelligence.
A core part of the role is championing customer outcomes. This involves driving satisfaction, fostering referenceability, and achieving deeper account penetration to increase revenue levels. You will also support and participate in co-selling scenarios with partners, aligning joint strategies to expand reach and accelerate adoption.
Required Qualifications
To be successful, you must be an experienced expert in solution selling and value-based selling methodologies. Demonstrated ability is required in navigating complex organizations and engaging with senior executives. You must possess the confidence to present enterprise software solutions to C-level decision makers.
Specific domain experience in utility, transport, or Oil & Gas sectors is considered a significant benefit. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or analytical discipline is mandatory. The role requires a willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to client venues and regional events. You must be capable of developing, communicating, and driving account strategies that are firmly rooted in valid, customer-specific value propositions.
Compensation and Location
The position is based in Staines-upon-Thames, Great Britain. It is a full-time engagement offering a fixed annual compensation package. The salary range is set between 65,000 GBP and 95,000 GBP, complemented by an OTE component for the 2024 period.
