What you'll do
Valuation providers are coordinated with, and supporting data such as cap tables and financials are prepared for 409A valuation processes to feed well-supported valuation outcomes.
ASC 718 stock-based compensation entries are prepared, and equity-related schedules are maintained so that equity accounting is accurate and supports correct compensation treatment.
Complex transactions are documented through technical accounting memos and audit-ready materials that provide clear records and support external review.
Lease and equity accounting areas are managed through primary contact with external auditors to resolve audit matters efficiently.
Requirements
The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement. Implementation or ongoing compliance of ASC 842 is demonstrated through direct experience, which is mandatory and non-negotiable for this role.
Accounting experience of 5+ years is required, with at least 2 years in US GAAP environments to build relevant proficiency.
Exposure to 409A valuations and/or ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting is necessary to handle equity-related accounting accurately.
A public accounting background at Big Four or large regional firm, or experience at a US company or startup, is required for this position.
Daily communication with US stakeholders at C1+ level is required to avoid misunderstandings.
Technical tasks are performed using strong Excel skills and proficiency in a major ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
Remote collaboration fluency with tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana is mandatory, along with prior remote work experience.
Cross-border collaboration is supported by experience with US or UK-based companies.
