About the role
About the role Hire Hangar is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Clients department. You will support global teams by creating digital assets and assisting with front-end web implementation. Key facts
Location: South Africa - Cape Town
Engagement: Contract
Compensation: $600 - $850 per month
Team: Clients What you'll do
Produce visual assets for marketing campaigns, websites, and landing pages
Manage design layouts and component libraries within Figma
Convert design concepts into functional web elements using HTML and CSS
Assist developers with UI updates and page construction
Use AI software to speed up creative workflows and asset production
Maintain brand standards across all digital projects
Engage in design feedback sessions and work within remote team structures Requirements - 1 to 3 years of professional experience in digital or graphic design
Proven background in web design, including responsive layouts and UI
Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design tasks
Fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS for web implementation
Hands-on experience using AI tools for creative or productivity tasks
Mandatory: Previous experience working in a fully remote role with US or UK-based companies
Ability to manage tasks independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting Nice to have
Foundational skills in JavaScript or front-end frameworks like React or Vue
Experience managing content in CMS platforms like Webflow or WordPress
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards
Ability to create simple animations or micro-interactions Skills & tools
