About the role
Harvey is building an enterprise-grade platform that integrates agentic AI into professional and legal services. We are looking for our first Growth Engineer to bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution. You will build systems that automate demand generation and optimize our digital presence to scale our impact. In this capacity, you will own the design of automated workflows that drive pipeline volume and efficiency across our marketing operations. You will act as the primary technical partner for the marketing team, translating strategic initiatives into scalable software solutions. The role requires you to deploy experiments rapidly and manage the full lifecycle of AI-driven growth systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that every automated interaction aligns with our brand and conversion objectives.

What you'll do
- Architect and deploy AI-driven automation that accelerates demand generation and refines campaign operations.
- Engineer scalable workflows for automated content creation and hyper-personalized audience segmentation.
- Orchestrate integrations between execution tools like n8n, Clay, and Claude with data platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, and our web CMS.
- Establish and maintain experimentation infrastructure to run A/B tests and deploy conversion flow updates directly on harvey.ai.
- Analyze and report on the operational efficiency and cost structure of all automated systems in production.
- Rapidly prototype advanced AI capabilities, including autonomous agent frameworks and MCP service integrations, to secure a market edge.
- Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the reliability and performance of growth tooling.
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to define metrics and validate the impact of growth experiments.
- Maintain the integrity and consistency of our marketing technology stack as it evolves with new tools and strategies.
- Lead the technical discovery and scoping of new automation opportunities with stakeholders across sales and marketing.
Requirements
- Hold 4+ years of cumulative experience in growth, marketing, or GTM engineering roles within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrate daily proficiency with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code as integral components of your development workflow.
- Apply experience using LLM APIs to automate complex workflows and enhance marketing performance metrics.
- Show familiarity with major CRMs like Salesforce, marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or HubSpot, and automation tools including Zapier, Make, or Clay.
- Exhibit competence in analytics and experimentation platforms like Segment, Amplitude, PostHog, or Mixpanel.
- Prove the ability to own 0 to 1 projects end-to-end while collaborating effectively with data science, sales, and marketing peers.
- Display strong written and verbal communication skills to align with cross-functional partners.
- Understand the fundamentals of data modeling and event tracking for analytical rigor.
Nice to have
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in programming languages and hands-on experience with data warehouses or business intelligence tools.
- Have a background in building on product surfaces or marketing sites, including landing pages and lifecycle engagement systems.
- Bring previous experience from an AI-native or high-growth B2B SaaS company where rapid iteration is the norm.
