What you'll do
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company and providing them with the necessary resources and information.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and comply with local labor laws.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues, providing timely and accurate information.
- Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement in the workplace culture.
- Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues, facilitating conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist in the performance management process by coordinating evaluations and providing support to managers in delivering constructive feedback.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and compliant with data protection regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and promoting career growth.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, contributing ideas and insights to improve overall HR operations.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee engagement levels, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee retention.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to continuously enhance the HR function within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations or employee relations, preferably in a part-time or flexible role.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations in Bulgaria, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with HR software and tools, such as HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, or performance management platforms.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus and demonstrates commitment to the profession.
- Familiarity with employee engagement strategies and initiatives that enhance workplace culture.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR management software.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and make data-driven decisions.
