Electrical Engineer
Job description
About the role
Graphcore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Austin as we establish a new AI Engineering Campus. In this role, you will own the creation and evolution of electrical schematics for printed circuit assemblies critical to our next-generation hardware. You will execute complex multilayer PCB layouts while ensuring designs adhere to strict manufacturability and testability standards. Collaboration with internal and external partners will be essential to align your designs with evolving system specifications and performance goals. You will lead design reviews and own the technical documentation, managing processes such as ECO and ECN with precision. A key part of this position involves hands-on validation, where you will handle prototype assembly, board bring-up, and debugging at the board level. You will also perform detailed root cause analysis to identify and resolve design defects that arise during testing and validation. This role is integral to advancing our AI computing infrastructure and directly supports the development of our data center hardware.
