About the role
Grafana Labs is on the lookout for a Demand Generation Program Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our sales pipeline. This position will focus on creating and accelerating opportunities throughout the customer journey, with an initial focus on deepening relationships with our existing clientele. You will have the opportunity to influence the future of demand generation by incorporating artificial intelligence into program execution.

What you'll do
- Design and oversee programs aimed at expanding and cross-selling within our existing customer base, collaborating closely with both sales and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
- Enhance and support initiatives across multiple channels such as paid advertising, email marketing, events, web presence, and outbound sales efforts, adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of the team.
- Create and implement automated workflows utilizing AI tools to optimize program execution, including tasks such as audience segmentation, content generation, and campaign performance monitoring.
- Translate marketing insights into actionable strategies for the sales team, focusing on account targeting and follow-up tactics, while working alongside sales leadership to assess program effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, reporting on its impact on the sales pipeline, and making data-driven decisions to refine or discontinue initiatives that are not meeting performance expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing strategies are effectively integrated into the overall business objectives and that all stakeholders are informed of progress and results.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the existing customer base, leveraging insights to inform program development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing program outcomes and implementing best practices to enhance future initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or lifecycle marketing within a B2B software environment, with a preference for candidates who have experience in open-source or developer-centric sectors.
- Proven ability to manage programs across at least two to three channels, such as email marketing, paid media, events, and outbound sales, with a demonstrated history of generating pipeline results in each area.
- Experience in marketing to existing customers, focusing on expansion, cross-sell opportunities, or customer lifecycle management, rather than solely acquiring new clients.
- Practical experience with AI applications in marketing, including the development of automations or agentic workflows, and a perspective that views AI as a tool for enhancement rather than replacement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, extract performance metrics, and present results in a clear and trustworthy manner to stakeholders.
- Excellent program management capabilities, characterized by timely delivery, proactive communication, and effective collaboration with sales, product marketing, and operations teams.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies or sales-led approaches.
- Knowledge of the observability, monitoring, or open-source technology sectors.
- Experience using platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce, along with data analysis tools like BigQuery.
- A track record of publicly sharing insights or work related to the application of AI in marketing operations.

Practical notes
- The base salary range for this position in the United States is between $100,000 and $120,000.
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as part of the compensation package.
- Employees are entitled to an annual leave policy of 30 days, with 3 days designated for Grafana Shutdown Days.
- All positions are fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
