What you'll do

• Collaborate with product teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback and market research.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning for Gitkraken's product offerings.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with company goals and customer needs, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience of our products.
• Gather and analyze user data to inform product decisions, utilizing analytics tools to track usage patterns and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on product specifications and timelines.
• Assist in the creation of product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials for internal teams and customers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative and efficient development process.
• Engage with customers through interviews and surveys to gather feedback and insights that will inform future product iterations.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep Gitkraken at the forefront of product innovation.
• Support marketing efforts by providing product knowledge and insights for promotional materials and campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in product management or a related role within the software industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in using product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana to track progress and manage tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality products that meet user needs.
• A passion for technology and a keen interest in software development practices.
