What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions that support our applications and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability of services.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
• Manage cloud resources and services, optimizing costs and performance based on usage patterns.
• Implement security best practices across the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to incidents as they arise.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our infrastructure and practices.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure that infrastructure changes do not negatively impact application performance.
• Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation to meet future growth and demand.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including service deployment and management.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Knowledge of database management systems and data storage solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to cloud infrastructure.
