About the role
This role manages EHS compliance programs, investigates incidents, and delivers training under the direction of the Sr. The position supports operations and construction teams while maintaining a strong preventive safety culture.
Software engineers turn product ideas into working code. Engineers work in small teams, review each other's work, and ship in small batches. Most teams follow agile practices such as sprints and daily standups. Engineers also write tests, fix bugs, and improve performance. The field values clear communication as much as technical skill. Engineers spend part of every week on planning, code review, and debugging, not just writing new code. The ability to explain a technical decision in plain words separates strong engineers from the rest.

What you'll do
Independent site EHS functions are performed for assigned work areas at the Helios data center campus.
Site-level EHS programs are developed, implemented, and maintained to satisfy applicable regulatory standards for operations and construction.
Incidents and near-misses are investigated at the site level, with corrective action plans developed and tracked to closure.
Findings from incident investigations are written and communicated to operations and construction teams through reports and corrective actions.
Workplace risk and exposure assessments are conducted for various hazard classes across assigned areas.
Technical EHS guidance is provided to EHS Technicians during site activities.
Manager, EHS for resolution.
Additional assigned duties are carried out as directed by the Sr. Manager, EHS.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering is required, with equivalent practical experience allowed as a substitute.
3-5 years of EHS experience in critical facility or industrial operations settings is required.
ASP certification is preferred, while working toward CSP is encouraged.
Site-level compliance program experience and hands-on incident investigation experience are required.
Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards is required.
Proficiency in EHS recordkeeping, OSHA 300 log management, and training documentation systems is required.
Effective communication across field teams, contractors, and leadership is required.
Experience in data centers, critical facilities, or large-scale commercial construction projects is preferred.

The position reports to the Sr. Manager, EHS and collaborates closely with operations and construction teams.
