What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable and efficient .Net applications that support our trading platform and other financial services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third-party services.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards within the team to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Assist in the documentation of software designs, architecture, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to promote effective team collaboration and project delivery.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on .Net technologies.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET Core framework, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with database systems, particularly SQL Server, and experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development, with experience in integrating third-party services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in the financial services industry or working with trading platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and experience in deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
