What you'll do

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms tailored to optimize trading strategies and enhance risk management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for machine learning applications.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that can inform model development and improve decision-making processes.
• Implement and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines that can handle large volumes of data efficiently.
• Evaluate and fine-tune existing models to improve accuracy and performance, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, integrating new techniques and technologies into existing systems.
• Document processes, methodologies, and results to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques, with the ability to apply these methods to real-world problems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying machine learning models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
