What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive identity and access management (IAM) strategies to safeguard sensitive information and systems.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within identity management systems and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring security is embedded from the ground up.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents related to identity management, responding promptly to mitigate potential threats.
- Design and maintain identity governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead initiatives to enhance user authentication processes, including multi-factor authentication and single sign-on solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams on best practices for identity security and access management.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in identity security, evaluating their potential impact on existing systems and processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff to promote awareness of identity security issues and best practices.
- Create detailed documentation for identity management processes, ensuring clarity and compliance for audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure that third-party identity solutions align with Fsp's security standards.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution, ensuring that identity-related incidents are effectively managed and resolved.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in identity security or a related field, with a strong focus on IAM solutions.
- Proven experience with identity governance tools and technologies, such as SailPoint, Okta, or Microsoft Azure AD.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in scripting or programming languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Java, to automate security processes.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices, particularly in relation to identity management in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of data protection technologies and practices, including encryption and data loss prevention.
- Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and their application in identity security.
- Previous experience in a consulting role, providing identity security solutions to clients.
- Understanding of emerging technologies such as blockchain and their implications for identity security.
