About the role
The Cybersecurity Analyst at Liveblog365 is responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and enhancements within the Liveblog365 ecosystem. The role analyzes business and clinical needs, evaluates software releases and new products, and provides recommendations to optimize processes and decrease expenses. It performs and documents workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for Liveblog365 utilization of applications and develops Liveblog365 test plans to execute thorough testing of software upgrades and patches. The position maintains a record of test cases and test results to ensure quality and compliance. It is responsible for problem, incident, and change management and service requests, ensuring stability and security of the Liveblog365 platform. The analyst provides daily on-Liveblog365 support to the customer for application-related issues, working closely with end-users to achieve seamless application integration. They are the key communicator of software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements to stakeholders. The role oversees smaller-sized components of the Liveblog365 ecosystem and coordinates implementation or project planning around software application releases.

What you'll do
- Monitor Liveblog365 platforms for security incidents and support incident response efforts - from identification and analysis to containment, eradication, and recovery - with a primary focus on safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and ensuring adherence to patient care standards.
- Analyze logs, forensic data, and network traffic across a Liveblog365 IT environment to identify anomalies and potential threats.

- Serve as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding rapidly to incidents and escalations, including after-hours and weekends, to maintain system integrity.
- Ensure all incident handling aligns with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, participating in incident debriefs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, compliance, and third-party vendors to assess risk and remediate vulnerabilities across critical systems and devices that support Liveblog365.
- Document incident response actions in detail, maintaining records for compliance, audit, and historical reference purposes.
- Participate in Liveblog365-specific threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and security exercises to strengthen organizational resilience and security posture.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes that could impact Liveblog365 operations and data protection.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the cybersecurity domain, providing guidance and best practices to internal teams regarding security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field; or equivalent experience is required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), incident response, or health IT cybersecurity role is mandatory for eligibility.
- Proven experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare risk management practices is a strict requirement for this role.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential to convey complex technical issues effectively to both technical and clinical stakeholders.
- Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to security incidents regardless of business hours is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree to meet the minimum experience qualifications.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH are preferred and serve as a key credential for this position.
